Our brains are being more and more understood as technology and research advance. The brain can change as we prioritize new modes of thinking due to its plasticity. Wide pathways can be narrowed, and narrow paths can become wider. The wider the pathway, the faster we find the information we want to recall.
The Bible says that as we become new in Christ Jesus, we can renew our minds. As we become more spiritually minded, we create wider and healthier pathways in our brains for spiritual and righteous matters. Pathways in our brains, such as those that speak to our identities, become wider as we learn more about who we are in Christ Jesus. Pathways, such as worry, become narrower as we stop worrying. And there are pathways we are hardwired to experience in life, such as the ability to love, create, and walk in our purpose.
Our goal is to help people to heal righteous pathways in the brain and become spiritually healed and healthy to mature in Christ. As we mature, we are more capable of advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth today. We can advance God’s Kingdom by establishing the truth about who God is and how He affects our lives daily. We establish truths by the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
We’re Made in God’s Image
God is the ultimate Creator. God made us in His image, which means we are like Him. Because God is Creator, we are also creators. It doesn’t matter where we come from or where we’ve been, we are creative. We are taught in this world that being creative means we must be artists or craftsmen of some kind which is not true. The truth is that we all are creative because we are human beings. We all can and do things in creative ways, such as figuring out what to wear, organizing our fridge, or planning that meeting. Creativity is behind everything we do, and more creativity is available to create positive change in our lives. If we want to make change happen in our lives, we can use creativity and the Creative Process to do so.
It’s All Possible
God not only created in us a void He can only fill, but He also made us for a reason. We all have a calling and purpose to fulfill in this life. We are uniquely designed with special gifts, talents, and skills to accomplish our purpose while we’re here on earth. We start walking in our purpose when we discover what it is God wants us to do and act. God often reveals our purpose to us over time as He sends us to serve Him. When God sends us He will supply us with every need to move righteously in our calling as we walk out our salvation. The good news is that everything is possible with Christ Jesus (See Romans 4:28). It’s possible. We can discover who we are and what we were created for. We can find joy in life as we respect and honor how God made us.
